In our humble opinion, Steve Gunn is one of the most underrated songwriters around, but not by us. His most recent album Daylight Daylight is a shining, shimmering diamond, every song an exercise in sweet, melodic restraint. "The moon is hanging like a friend" he sings in one sublime moment during the song A Walk. Pure Hush.
