B. Ticket purchases
 

When you purchase tickets for one of our events, we collect:

  • Email address

  • Home address

  • Billing address

  • Ticket type(s) purchased

  • Order and transaction details

Payment card details are processed securely by our ticketing and payment providers and are not stored by us.


Purpose:

  • To process your ticket order

  • To deliver tickets and order confirmations

  • To provide event-related communications (such as essential event information, schedule updates, or changes)

  • To manage customer service queries and refunds where applicable
     

Lawful basis:
Performance of a contract (the ticket purchase).
 

Retention:
We retain ticket purchase data only for as long as necessary to fulfil our contractual, legal and accounting obligations.


C. Marketing communications following ticket purchase

When purchasing tickets, you may be given the option to opt in to receive marketing communications from us (for example, by ticking a checkbox).

  • If you opt in, we will use your email address to send marketing emails.

  • If you do not opt in, we will only send transactional and service-related emails relating to your ticket purchase.

Consent (for marketing communications).

3. Data sharing and processors

We may share your personal data with trusted third-party service providers who act as data processors on our behalf, and only where necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice.

These currently include:

  • Ticket Tailor – ticket sales and event registration

  • Mailchimp – mailing list management and email communications

  • Google – website analytics, email services and cloud-based storage

  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) – advertising and conversion tracking (where cookies are accepted)

We do not sell your personal data and do not allow our service providers to use it for their own purposes.

All processors are contractually required to keep your data secure and confidential.
 

Where you have provided your email address to us (for example by subscribing to our mailing list or opting in to marketing communications), we may use this information to create custom audiences on advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
 

This allows us to:

  • Show relevant advertisements to existing subscribers; and

  • Create “lookalike” audiences, enabling us to reach people with similar interests.

When we upload customer lists to such platforms, the data is securely hashed before transmission and used solely for matching purposes in accordance with the platform’s privacy terms.
