Arabian Skies

A magical evening of hypnotic rhythms and soaring melodies, from dusk into night, surrounded by the trees of Central Park.

Maya Youssef, the award-winning Syrian qanun player, will take us on a journey with her own compositions, accompanied by pianist Ben Smith, percussionist Simon Roth and vocalist Hamsa Mounif. Read more about Maya here.

Joseph Tawadros, the Egyptian multi-instrumentalist and oud virtuoso will fill Central Park with the sounds of his homeland as dusk turns into night. Read more about Joseph here. 

The musical programme will start at 6.45pm and there will be a 45 minute intermission between performances.

This event is restricted to ages 8 and over. 8 to 17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over.
